Full Stack Developer / Product Engineer
Buenos Aires, Argentina
I build productswhere complexityhas to feel simple.
I work across frontend, backend, data and cloud to build production software for geospatial platforms, travel commerce, finance tools and operational systems.
From satellite imageryto checkout flows,I turn complex systemsinto products peoplecan actually use.
I have worked on geospatial analysis, travel e-commerce, enterprise systems and independent products, building across interfaces, APIs, databases and infrastructure.
01 / Selected Work
Products builtfor real constraints.
A selection of professional work where engineering decisions had to coexist with users, business rules, performance, data and production environments.

- Geospatial / Satellite data / Production
Turning satellite datainto decisions.
I build and maintain features for a production geospatial platform used to analyze land through maps, satellite imagery and operational data.
My work includes integrating Google Earth Engine workflows, building interactive mapping and visualization features, and connecting the product across Next.js, Strapi, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform.

- Travel commerce
Making complex travelbooking flows feel simple.
I work on a production travel e-commerce platform where availability, pricing, booking rules and multiple travel products need to converge into a clear customer experience.
I implement responsive interfaces from product designs, improve booking and checkout flows, work on performance-sensitive frontend features, and collaborate on backend functionality using Node.js, NestJS and MySQL.

- Enterprise software
Software built aroundreal operational workflows.
At Sistemas Lenox I worked across internal and client-facing business systems, including an employee-management PWA, document workflows, .NET MVC applications, internal sales software and database-oriented tools.
The work required understanding operational processes first and turning them into reliable interfaces and backend flows.

03 / Independent Products
I also buildmy own products.
Side projects are where I explore product strategy, system design and engineering decisions end to end.
Better context beforebuying or selling land.
Campo Bueno explores how historical, satellite and geospatial data can make rural property analysis more transparent.
The product combines interactive field boundaries, vegetation analysis, climate and land-history signals to create clearer reports for evaluating and presenting rural properties.
01 / Boundary
Start with the parcel.
Interactive field boundaries define exactly what is being evaluated, before any analysis runs.
02 / Satellite
See it from above.
Recent satellite imagery replaces guesswork about what is actually on the land today.
03 / Vegetation
Measure vigor.
Vegetation indices show where the land performs, where it struggles and where water sits.
04 / History
Look back in time.
Years of imagery reveal cover change, deforestation signals and long-term climate behaviour.
05 / Report
Get a report you can share.
Signals become a preliminary report with plain-language explanations and explicit confidence levels.

Personal financewithout losing context.
A personal finance system designed around the way money actually moves between accounts, currencies, cards and monthly obligations.

04 / What I work across
Frontend. Backend.Data. Cloud. Geospatial.
01
Product Frontend
Interfaces that remain clear even when the underlying product is not.
02
Backend Systems
APIs and services designed around real product workflows.
03
Data
Relational data models and application flows built to stay maintainable.
04
Cloud & Delivery
From local development to production deployment and iteration.
05
Geospatial
Turning spatial and satellite data into understandable product experiences.
05 / How I work
Good engineering startsbefore the first component.
01
Understand the product
I start from the workflow, constraints and business rules, not from the framework.
02
Make complexity visible
I model data and flows explicitly so the UI can stay simple.
03
Build for production
Performance, maintainability, failure states and deployment matter as much as the happy path.
04
Iterate with users and teams
The best implementation is usually the result of product, design and engineering decisions made together.
06 / About
About Mauricio Hunau
I'm Mauricio Hunau, a Full Stack Developer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I started working professionally in software in 2022 and have since built products across enterprise operations, travel commerce and geospatial technology.
I naturally gravitate toward projects where the problem is bigger than a single screen: multiple systems, complex data, business rules, real users and production constraints.
I care about clean architecture and performance, but also about the detail that determines whether a product actually feels understandable.
Outside client and company work, I build independent products to explore ideas end to end: from product definition and UI to backend architecture, infrastructure and launch.
The part I enjoy mostis making something complicatedlook obvious once it works.
